Nicaragua WP - Finca Los Positos - Jinotega

Owned by Maria Estanislada Martinez, Finca Los Positos is a 21.35-hectare farm located near Palo Blanco, a small rural community in the Jinotega region of northern Nicaragua. With a focus on traditional practices, all coffee produced by this farm is shade-grown and hand-picked. 

Under the cooperative Asociación Aldea Global Jinotega, Finca Los Positos is apart of the Tierra Madre program: women-produced coffee. 

Tasting notes: juicy with a creamy texture, notes of spices and cooked fruit, with a fresh acidity and medium finish.
